WELCOME TO CAMPING 2026
1. What is it? The Verso camping retreat is a weekend away in the woods with your friends and Jesus... it's the best
2. When is it? August 1-2, 2026 - we leave at 8 AM Saturday and return around 2 PM Sunday
3. Where is it? Muskrat Cove, a group camping area by the lake at Moraine State Park
4. Who can come? All rising freshmen through recent high school grads are welcome to register
5. What are the accommodations? Boys stay in tents on one side of the campsite and girls on the other. Adults are in separate tents nearby. You do not need to own a tent in order to come. We have a drinkable water pump at our campsite and a flush toilet in an outhouse
6. What do we do? So much! We have lots of free time for swimming, sports, and hanging out. We take a group excursion to McConnell's Mill for a hike by the river. We have Mass, Adoration, and worship right by the lake at our campsite. At night we make s'mores and sit around the fire. If you've been on a youth group retreat or trip before, it's like that, but we're camping, so it's really chill!
7. How do I sign up? Registration is open at the link at the top of this page. The cost is $150. Please ask about financial aid if that would be helpful to you!
8. What if I have never been camping before? That's totally ok! Every year we have at least one or two people come who have never been camping before and they usually end up loving it!
