The Core Team is a group of adults without whom Verso wouldn't be possible. Core Team members take an active role in forming authentic, Christ-centered relationships with teens, because teens don't connect to programs, they connect to people! Teens (middle and high school) need adults who will:

• Love God and live for Him
• Be genuinely interested in the teens’ lives
• Go to “their world” – show up at their games and events with other Core
• Pray for them
• Be patient
• Laugh
• Remember their names and care about them
• Be authentic witnesses to God’s love
• Be consistent
• Enjoy life
• Love teens unconditionally
• Love Christ and His Church
• Have a personal prayer life
• Be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit

There is no better way to spend your time than pointing young people to Jesus. Volunteering is a deeply impactful way to serve Christ and His Church - it will change you, will change teens’ lives, and give you a whole new community to pray and grow with. We need help with both high school and middle school ministry, and there are lots of different ways to serve and commitment levels at which you can join - if you want to serve the youth of our parish, there is no ability or talent that the Lord can't use.
