MISSION WEEK
WELCOME TO MISSION WEEK
1. What is it? Mission Week is a life-changing week spent serving others, growing in faith, and making new friends. It's one of the best weeks of the summer! Watch the recap reel from last year's
2. When is it? Mission Week 2025 is June 15-20.
3. Where is it? SNPJ Recreation Center in Enon Valley, PA. This is a beautiful campus with a lake, swimming pool, hoops, fields, and more that we have almost entirely to ourselves
4. Who can come? Any high school student who will have completed freshman year by the trip start is welcome to register (2025 graduates included)! Anyone coming on the trip must come to Verso (youth group) a minimum of three times before Mission Week - this is to set YOU up for success!
5. What are the accommodations? Students share cabins in groups of between 4-8. Everyone may choose their own cabin
6. What do we do? We spend about 8 hours a day Monday to Thursday serving in the community. Teens are assigned to "work groups" each with their own homeowners or organizations to visit and serve. We do a lot of painting, yard work, and small home repairs, but our real mission is bringing joy and community and the energy that only teenagers have to men and women most of whom live alone and look forward to our visit all year. After our workdays, we have free time, Mass every day, and nightly activities throughout the week including a bonfire, pool party, talent show, and Adoration. Click here for a sample schedule of what the week was like last year.
7. How much does it cost? $475 is the total cost per person. A non-refundable $100 deposit is due at the time of registration. The remainder can be paid anytime by May 31. If cost is an obstacle, don't let it be! Financial aid is available - talk to Joni
8. How do I sign up? Registration opens April 1 at 7 PM and will remain open until space is full or May 18. The trip is expected to fill up before May 18 and we encourage you to sign up as early as you can. You will need your credit card to submit the $100 deposit at the time of registration
9. What should I bring? Click here for a packing list.
10. What are we forgetting? Don't see an answer to your question here? Email Joni at [email protected].
If you're a college student or adult interested in being a leader on the trip, contact Joni.
Already signed up? Don't forget to fill out your required forms and turn them in ASAP:
